Indulgence in shoe and boots fetish, snuggling in comfy winter jumpers and relishing the morning cuppa coffee still looks a distant dream as Delhiites are yet to experience the cold weather.

After a warm start, the end of December’s first week too remained warm, leaving people in Delhi yearn for the chilly winter season.

Unlike the usual wintery conditions, the maximum temperatures in Delhi remained more than 25°C during the first seven days of December. Minimums too settled in double digits during the same period.

The situation is likely to continue for next 24 - 48 hours after which Delhi may witness a drop in temperature owing to a cyclonic circulation moving closer to Haryana and Uttar Pradesh from Punjab and North Rajasthan.
