Thereafter, scattered light rains are possible over parts of Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Noida. Intensity of rainfall is likely to witness an increase around August 8 and 9.
The increase in rains will be attributed to the low-pressure area which will travel towards the central parts of the country. Due to this, the axis of Monsoon trough may also shift towards the southern direction near Delhi leading to increased rainfall activities.
