Delhi weather had been slightly on the comfortable side as maximum temperatures had been settling close to the normal levels over the entire city. Adjoining areas of Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad were witnessing similar weather conditions.
However, yesterday after about two days, there was a comeback of the not needed warmth during the day. The maximum temperature also witnessed an increase which will rise even further in the coming days.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature at the Palam observatory settled at 33.8 degrees which is three notches above the normal levels, while Safdarjung observatory saw the maximum at 32.3 degrees, a notch above normal.
Minimum temperatures over both the observatories settled in the late teens, both being a degree above the normal levels.
Now, the Western Disturbances are running in the higher latitudes. Thus, dry northwesterly winds which are warm in nature have started blow over the region. Thus, further rise in the day temperatures is expected over Delhi and the NCR region which may even cross the 35-degree mark. Meanwhile, not much change in the minimum temperatures is anticipated.
