Now, weather conditions will witness a change as an active Western Disturbance is approaching the hills of North India. Hence, air mass is also changing, and southwesterly winds are blowing over the region. Due to this change, day and night temperatures are expected to increase during the next 36 hours.

The system will also result in an induced cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Central Pakistan. This system will move east northeastwards. Thus, light rain is possible over Delhi region around January 23. Due to these light rains, temperatures may witness a decrease and slight winter chill is expected to be felt in and around the national capital.

During the same time period, the other parts of Northwest India will also witness rainfall activity.
