Delhi and the NCR region have not seen massive rains in the month of September. In fact, temperatures have also been on the higher side and the city has not been able to even come close to the normal rains for the month.
While the average rains for September stands at 128 mm, Safdarjung Observatory in Delhi has only been able to see 67 mm of rain.
However, patchy rainfall activity is expected to be seen over Delhi and the NCR region tomorrow as well as day after tomorrow i.e., on September 22 and 23rd. Moreover, the possibility of a few spells here and there cannot be ruled out today as well.
After September 23, Delhi is once again expected to see dry weather. Temperatures will remain in the similar range around 36 and 37 degrees. Yesterday also, the maximum at Safdarjung settled at 37.2 degrees which is 3 degrees above normal.
