August is the rainiest month of the year at 232.5 mm rains and 34.8 mm rains is very less. Currently, Monsoon Trough is running south of its normal position and will remain so. However, it will shift up gradually. Next two days, it is going to be dry with very light drizzle today and tomorrow. There may be some clouds coming up with light drizzle expected.

The Trough will gradually shift around August 28, and some rains are expected around that time. These showers may be intense in nature and may continue until the end of the month.
