Delhi To Receive More Rain This Weekend

More Rain in DelhiDelhiites heaved a sigh of relief after witnessing a rainy evening on Thursday. The night before the long weekend began on a rainy note bringing a much needed relief from the scorching heat and the rising temperatures. South and North Delhi along with Noida and Ghaziabad observed lightning and thunderstorm with light drizzle. However, East Delhi only witnessed moderate showers.

The spell of rain continued for nearly 2 hours at night and light rain continued in the morning as well. After the rain last night, the temperatures have witnessed a sharp dip by 6 to 7 degrees. Safdarjung recorded a rainfall of 6.4 mm, Palam (8 mm), Hindon (11.6 mm), Ridge (12 mm), Ayanagar (10.4 mm), and Lodhi Road (7.4 mm).

The day is expected to have a break from the rain. However, starting late evening, the national capital is expected to receive rain yet again. The rainy spell is expected to last till tomorrow morning. On Saturday, the morning and the forenoon hours are expected to be rainy. However, the afternoons and evening are expected to have a break from the rain.

Delhiites can make all their plans later in the day tomorrow to save themselves from the rain.The last day of the long weekend, i.e., Sunday is expected to be a no rainy day. The dry spell will then last for a couple of days.
