Light patchy rain is expected in the national capital throughout Sunday as cloudy conditions continue to persist. At present, the weather trough is hovering around south of Delhi. Overcast conditions with patchy rain will continue for the next 24 hours.
Day temperatures in Delhi are already on the lower side. Maximums are expected to remain 3 to 4°C below the normal. Minimums will also settle close to the normal. The dip in temperatures has resulted in cool and pleasant weather conditions which are expected to continue till Monday.
On Tuesday, the weather system will move towards the north-east region. Sun will come up in Delhi and temperatures are expected to rise. But cold and dry winds from the North-Northwest direction will continue to blow over the city. These winds will keep the temperature under check. Despite sunshine, temperatures are not expected to rise much in the capital.
Delhiites have been feasting on unusually cool and pleasing conditions in the month of March. Moreover, such welcoming weather conditions over the weekend are nothing short of a gift for localities as well as tourists. With these conditions expected to continue for the next 24 hours or so, outings and sight-seeing are totally on the menu.
