Heat in Delhi has started to pick up pace with maximums rising everyday. So much so that yesterday, the national capital recorded a whopping 38.3 degrees Celsius, which is almost 2 degrees more than the day before and 8 degree above the normal level. Najafgarh has seen the maximum close to 40 degree, making it almost a heatwave like situation.
Moreover, there has been no weather activity in the past few days and a steady rise has been seen for the past 9 days or so. On March 12, the maximum was at 29.6 degrees.
The maximum may not shoot up anymore but the temperature will be between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius for sometime. Moreover, the minimum also is settling 8 degree above normal level, making Delhi the hottest so far this season.
