Delhi shivers with lowest minimum of season, nights to remain chilly

Delhi weather has been cold enough to let chill run down anyone’s spine. While mornings have been foggy enough for the residents of the national capital, nights have been bone chilling. It is only the days which have managed to be slightly better and the temperatures are hovering near the normal levels.

Delhi witnessed another night where the weather remained cold and the weather remained foggy enough during the late night and early morning hours. Moreover, parts of Delhi woke up to a very dense fog. So much so that the visibility at the Palam airport to a mere 50 metres.

However, the fog lifted early enough, and the sun came up after around 10 am in the morning. Not only this, the night had become really cold. In fact, the Safdarjung observatory recorded the minimum at a mere 4.2 degrees.

This has been the lowest minimum of the season so far wherein the national capital has been observing coldwave conditions.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, foggy conditions will make an appearance during the early morning hours. However, the depth of the fog will not be that much which is why the lifting up of the fog will be at a much quicker pace and the sun will come up.

As far as minimums are concerned, they will continue to settle below the normal levels and remain chilly enough for the residents of the national capital. Due to the sunshine occurrences during the afternoon hours, maximums will remain normal.
