Delhi sees lowest minimum of season at 8 degrees, winter chill to remain

Delhi has seen the first half of November as temperatures being above normal with minimums above 15 degrees a swell. It started to dip in the third week. In fact, for the past few days Delhi has been recording minimum below the 10° mark.

Today in the national capital recorded the lowest minimum of this season at 8° celsius. Rains have been nil this month against the normal of 4 mm.

Average temperature for November is at 13 degrees, by virtue of above normal temperatures in the first half. Temp will remain in single digit for the rest of the month and may drop below normal by the end of the month.

There are chances that minimums may drop by a degree or so but will remain between 7 and 9 degrees Celsius. This is similar to what happened last year where minimum went to 6.3 degrees Celsius on November 23.

As far as the past decade is concerned, there ever been only a few occasions where minimum has dropped below 10° during November and around half the times, the city has sene minimums over 10 degrees.

Talking about Air Pollution, the pollution levels will remain on the moderate to poor side and not worsen much.
