Delhi-NCR has been witnessing pleasant weather conditions for the last few days, with both the maximum and minimum temperatures settling in comfortable range.
Morning and evening are extremely pleasant with slight nip in the air during the morning hours. Meanwhile, days are comfortably warm but one could see bright sunshine during the peak afternoon hours.
On Wednesday, the day maximum settled at 35°C, while the night temperature was at 18.6°C. According to Skymet Weather, these temperatures are normal during this time of the year.
The normal average day temperature for the national capital during October is 32.8°C, while night temperature is 19.1°C.
In addition to this, there has been significant drop in the levels of humidity that has been a cause for uncomfortable weather during the September end.
All thanks to continuous flow of dry and cool northwesterly winds that are blowing over entire Northwest and Central India.
Though, a Western Disturbance is presently moving across Jammu and Kashmir but being a feeble weather system, it will not have any impact over the plains.
Further in the coming days, no major changes are expected in the prevailing weather conditions, predicts Skymet Weather. Minimum temperatures may plunge further marginally by a few notches after a span of 3-4 days.
Marginal haziness can also be observed along the industrial belt of the region during the morning hours.
