Delhi and the NCR region has seen a bumper July where in heavy rainfall activity was seen on a couple of occasions with three digit rains also being recorded. However, between 11 and 15th of July, we did not see any significant rainfall activity over the national capital.
However, during the last 48 hours there has been some increase in rainfall with Safdarjung observatory recording 8 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. Today also, the national capital saw some rain fall in the morning itself. We can see some moderate rainfall activity with isolated heavy spells today.
By tomorrow, rainfall activity is expected to be more intense and will also increase in its spread. Therefore, moderate to heavy rainfall which will be widespread in nature is likely on July 18 and 19 over the national capital.
