October 6, 2022 2:20 PM |

Southwest Monsoon bid adieu to Delhi during the fag end of September on 29th, which is four days behind its usual date. While weather was dry for the past few days, there were some traces of rainfall in a few areas yesterday. Having said that, the withdrawal of Monsoon does not mean absence of rains completely.

The morning of today was also a cloudy one and cloudy sky conditions are expected to continue over Delhi and the NCR region today and tomorrow with some light rainfall over some areas. Rainfall activity is expected to pick up pace between October 8 and 10 which means that Delhiites are in for a rainy weekend ahead. There is a slight possibility that rains may extend furthermore as well.

These rainfall activities are attributed to the cyclonic circulation which is over Andhra Pradesh coast along with which actress is extending from this system up to Uttarakhand. Easterly winds are expected to start blowing over the Delhi NCR resulting in rainfall activities.

Delhi which was reeling under sultry conditions for the past few days will see a change in weather conditions due to the rains and temperatures maximum may reduce to some extent resulting in some pleasant weather for the residents.
