A few days ago, Delhi rains remained on the lighter side with a few good rains making an appearance.
However, for the past two days, heavy rainfall activity has been making constant appearances over Delhi and NCR region of Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Noida.
Moreover, due to these heavy rainfall activities, waterlogging persisted how many parts of the city yesterday. office goers for the worst sufferers as they stood in long queues of traffic jams.
During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday heavy rains were witnessed all throughout the national capital with Safdarjung recorded a whopping 45.8 mm of rains, Ayanagar 41.9 mm, Narela 54 mm, Palam 37.4 mm, and Ridge 46.2 mm.

These rains have been attributed to multiple weather systems including a low pressure area over West Uttar Pradesh and the Western Disturbance over the Western Himalayan region. The axis of Monsoon trough is also running in proximity.
Rainfall activity even continued today, and good rainfall was observed during the morning hours causing traffic chaos yet another day. Now, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, Delhi rains are expected to continue today but they won’t be as heavy as yesterday.
In fact, rains will again reduce to some extent tomorrow but light to moderate rains with good breaks in between will still continue. Thus, with reduced Delhi rains,
