The axis of Monsoon trough is passing through North Madhya Pradesh. Therefore south easterly humid winds are blowing over Delhi. Due to this moisture level is very high in the atmosphere and along with the influence of the Western Disturbance, we expect light to moderate rains in many parts of Delhi and NCR region until September 2.
However, as there is no significant weather system, therefore, rains will be in patches and may cover small areas and will last for a short duration. We expect the sky to remain partly cloudy to cloudy and the weather will also be comfortable.
High humidity levels may create slight discomfort. After September 2, it is anticipated that only isolated rains will continue over the region and the axis of Monsoon trough will shift in the foothills and will increase rains over the foothills. The weather over central India and the northern plains will be dry leading to break Monsoon like conditions.
