Delhi and the NCR region has seen some decent rainfall activity during the morning hours. Moreover, since the morning hours, partly cloudy weather conditions continue to persist over many parts of Delhi as well as the national capital region.
The low pressure area which was over Bay of Bengal intensified into a well marked low pressure area and it has also moved inland, and is over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Chhattisgarh region. The monsoon trough line is also running south of its normal position. The wind pattern has also changed. Thus, these features have resulted in rain over Delhi.
Moreover, during the next 3 days or so, we can still see some rain. Rains may be light in nature with a few isolated parts witnessing moderate showers as well.
