Delhi rains to continue today, to pick pace again during weekend

As the axis of Monsoon has shifted to North, i.e. Punjab and Haryana, and is currently passing through Punjab and Haryana.

Thus, rain activities have also shifted to the northern parts in view of which many parts of Delhi and the NCR region have seen moderate to heavy rains during the last 24 hours.

Even today, scattered rainfall and thundershowers may be seen in many parts of Delhi and the NCR including Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad.

Meanwhile, on August 15 and 16, there will be a dip in rainfall activities. However, isolated rainfall activities cannot be ruled out in these areas.

Monsoon will once again see a revival over North India including Delhi on August 17 and 18. During that time, the upcoming Low-Pressure Area will travel up to Delhi and the NCR region as a Cyclonic Circulation.

Thus, good rains in Delhi and NCR may also be seen during that time. Thus, it is safe to say that this week is likely to be a rainy one for the national capital.

Temperatures will remain below normal over most parts of Delhi and the weather will become comfortable. Due to these rains, traffic jams and waterlogging may be seen.

By August 19, the weather will start to clear up as the axis of Monsoon Trough will once again shift to the South. During that time, the weather will become warm in view of Clear sky conditions and increase in temperatures.
