Delhi rains have been playing enough games already. In fact, the national capital has been witnessing some rains in between keeping the high temperatures away from the city.

The last 24 hours have seen light rains over Delhi and the NCR region. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, Ridge saw a light 3.6 mm of rains, Safdarjung witnessed 0.7 mm of rains, Palam recording 0.3 mm rainfall.

Currently, the axis of Monsoon trough is passing close to North Delhi. Not only this, an induced cyclonic circulation is over North Haryana. The Western Disturbance is also passing through Jammu and Kashmir.

Due to the combined effect of these systems, light to moderate rains will occur over Delhi NCR which will further decrease the temperatures and increase clouding over the area.

These weather conditions will continue for another 48 hours over Delhi and the NCR region of Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. Thereafter, rainfall intensity will reduce, and temperatures will increase over the city and its adjoining areas after 48 hours.

Both maximum temperatures and minimum temperatures will be on the lower side with maximums settling in the early 30s and the minimums being recorded in the mid 20s.
