Delhi and adjoining areas of the NCR have seen some rainfall activities in the last 24 hours. So much so that the city observatory Safdarjung has recorded 13 mm, Palam 6 mm, Lodhi Road 13.2 mm, Salvan 8.5 mm, Ridge 5 mm.

In fact, in the next two days, weather conditions remain favourable for more rainfall over Delhi as well as the NCR region. This is due to the Circulation of the Low Pressure Area, which is hanging around close by. Along with this the trough extending from this system is also in close proximity of Delhi region, in the peripheral areas.

Till day after tomorrow, rains of varied intensity may be seen, nothing heavy is expected per se. Thereafter, rainfall activity may be seen to be reducing significantly over Delhi and the NCR region, and Monsoon may be starting to show its withdrawal signs from the country.
