Delhi Weather post

The national capital has been reeling under warm and humid weather since past many days. Not only this, the rain activity remained far away from Delhi-NCR. However, we are now all set to get relief from the uncomfortable weather conditions.

As per weathermen, weather conditions have become conducive for rain and thundershowers to return over Delhi and its adjoining regions of Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gurugram.

These rains can be attributed to the low pressure area which currently over East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and would be gradually shifting towards North Madhya Pradesh.

Thus, in wake of this weather system, we expect rains to begin over Delhi-NCR in the next 24 hours. Light rains may start appearing over the state by tonight itself. Thereafter, moderate to heavy rains will lash the Delhi and its adjoining regions of Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gurugram by September 22.

These heavy rains are most likely to result in water logging and massive traffic jams that may end up creating chaos all over the capital city. So, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has advised to be prepared in advance for the upcoming bedlam by the heavy showers.

The month of September began on a rainy note for Delhi and NCR region but thereafter, the weather remained mostly dry with isolated occurrences of light rains.
