As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, clouding is expected to prevail over the national capital during the day, which in turn, may result in some light rainfall and thunderstorm activities over Delhi and the NCR region. The reason for this weather activity could be credited to the presence of a Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir which has induced an upper air cyclonic circulation over Haryana and neighbouring areas.

Hence, there are possibilities of short spell of light rain and thunderstorm over Delhi, some parts of Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Due to this, there may be brief relief from the summer heat that has been wreaking havoc over the national capital. Thus, slight drop in day temperatures is likely tomorrow and minimums may also register a marginal reduction.

One or two short spells of rain and thundershower are expected to occur over Gurugram, Delhi, Noida and Faridabad between 1600 hours and 2100 hours today.

Thereafter, dry weather will again linger over Delhi and the NCR region, with marginal increase in day temperatures.
