Delhi rains likely on February 12, pleasant weather on Valentines Day

Winters this season has remained largely dry for Delhi and its adjacent cities. However, the first half of the month is anticipated to bring in some rains as conditions for rain have become favorable for the national capital, and its adjoining areas.

As per Skymet Weather, the rain activity is expected to show up in Delhi and NCR after February 10. Until then, Delhiites would have to bear with dry and warm weather conditions.

Prior to this, Delhi and its adjoining Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad were witnessing medium clouds that led to a decrease in the temperatures. However, now, the clouds are seen shifting in an easterly direction.

In the wake of this, the sky is expected to remain clear for the next 2-3 days. Moreover, light to moderate winds is likely to prevail. On account of the clear sky, the maximums and minimums would witness a slight rise.

According to Skymet Weather, the impact of clouds would increase in Delhi and NCR again from February 10-11. Under its influence, light to moderate rains are predicted to be recorded in the capital of the country and surrounding areas at some places on February 12 and 13.

Furthermore, by tomorrow evening, an active Western Disturbance would affect the Western Himalayan region. Due to this system, the area of cyclonic winds will gradually come to the plains of northern India and the weather of north-west India including Delhi will change. Due to rain, the weather would become romantic on February 14 i.e. on Valentine's Day.

Due to rain in Delhi on February 12 and 13, there may be a significant drop in day temperatures, but after the rain activities, the night temperatures would also start dropping.
