By evening hours of today, rainfall intensity is expected to increase over the national capital. This increase in the rainfall activity will be attributed to the upper air cyclonic circulation which was persisting over Jharkhand and has now shifted westwards and is lying over Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas. Another system in the form of a cyclonic circulation is over Southeast Uttar Pradesh which will also move further northwestwards and will result in a few good spells of showers over Delhi and the NCR region.

With this, temperatures are expected to witness a drop and warm weather conditions will be replaced by pleasant weather over the national capital. Rainfall activity is expected to continue over Delhi for the next two to three days.
