Delhi and the NCR region have been seeing a change in the weather conditions for the last couple of days. Rainfall activity has been seen over parts of Delhi as well as the NCR region on an on-and-off basis.

During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Palam observatory saw 11 mm of rains while Safdrajung recorded 5 mm of rains. Today also, the city did see some rains and partly cloudy sky conditions were dominant through the day ensuring the temperatures settling much below the normal levels.

In fact, the base observatory saw today's maximum at 34.5 degrees which is 4 degrees below the normal levels while Palam saw 34 degrees as its maximum which is 5 notches below the usual.

Now, we can expect to see some fleeting and isolated showers over Delhi for the next couple of days. Temperatures are expected to remain below the normal levels, which means intense heat will not be seen. However, humidity levels will remain on the higher side which may result in some discomfort despite the lower maximums.
