As per Skymet Weather, at present, the Axis of Monsoon trough can be seen running south of Delhi. However, it is expected that this trough would shift slightly northwards over Delhi. This would, in turn, bring in some light to moderate rains over Delhi and its adjoining areas of Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad today.

Moreover, these rains are expected to continue for at least the next four to five days. However, Skymet Weather rules out any possibility of heavy showers during this time. Only a short spell of intense showers can be anticipated. The weather would remain cloudy and comfortable for the next few days. This would surely give the much-awaited and needed respite from the prevailing warm and humid weather.

June ended on a rainy note for the capital city of Delhi and the beginning of the month of July was also marked with some light rains. Despite the fact that Monsoon made an early onset over Delhi and NCR, rains over the national capital have remained at bay until now.

One such occasion was on July 3, when Delhi and NCR received its first and the only good spells until now since the arrival of Monsoon. Though Delhi NCR managed to witness some isolated spells on the last day, these also remained mostly in some isolated pockets of the city.
