The plains of North India have seen intense weather activities during the last week. In fact, in an event of dust storm and thunder Storms over Rajasthan, at least 125 people were killed.

There has been a break in those weather activities during the last two days or so. However, this show is not over yet and more weather activities are expected in the coming days.
Presently a Western disturbance can be seen over the Western Himalayan region over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, is induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan.
Due to the presence of these weather systems, more activities are expected to occur over the states of North Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and NCR region, along with western parts of Uttar Pradesh.
The state of Punjab has already started to witness rainfall activity and more will be seen tomorrow. Other part of North India that have been mentioned above will see dust storm, thunderstorm, lightning strikes as well as squally winds tomorrow.
Talking about temperatures, maximums will remain in the late 30's tomorrow however, a significant fall in the day temperatures is expected over the plains of North India on May 8.
