The Indo Gangetic plains are all set to see some rainfall activity including parts of north India. Currently, the Monsoon trough is north of its normal position and is expected to remain there for some more time.
This will result in rain along the foothills of Punjab, Haryana, as well as Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. Rains will pick up on August 2, starting over West Uttar Pradesh and some parts may see heavier showers as well. August 3 and 4 may see rains spreading towards Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.
Sporadic showers may be seen over the foothills of Punjab and Haryana on August 5, 6 and 7 as well.
