Delhi Pollution: Supreme Court asks centre to explore hydrogen based Japanese Technology to battle Pollution

With Delhi Pollution remaining off the charts, the centre has once again been slammed by the Supreme Court. Moreover, the court has also asked the government to see if they can use hydrogen-based fuel technology as solutions for battling Air Pollution in the national capital.

Meanwhile, the centre has mentioned that they are exploring technology, which also includes a Japanese one and a report will be submitted by December 3. The top bench which comprised the Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi and Justice AS Bobde, mentioned that the government has made very little constructive efforts for finding a solution the pollution problem.

A Japanese University has conducted a research considering Delhi Pollution and the technology can be used to curb Pollution Levels. Moreover, the technology, which is hydrogen-based might be able to get rid of air pollution.

The Government will be submitting a report on the feasibility of using the technology on December 3. Supreme Court has mentioned that a much more permanent solution is needed to the Pollution issue because as winter will thicken, the situation will only get worse.

Pollution levels in Delhi have already taken a toll with Air Quality being beyond the 500 mark in many parts for the past couple of days.
