At present, Delhi and its adjoining areas such as Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad are experiencing overcast conditions in the wake of the fresh Western Disturbance that has approached Jammu and Kashmir and its induced cyclonic circulation over western parts of Rajasthan.
By today afternoon, with the combined effect of these weather systems, rain and thundershower activities will commence over Delhi and NCR area. But the intensity of weather activities will only be scattered.
On March 14, the intensity and spread of these rains will increase. In fact, few intense spells of rain associated with hailstorm activity can also be expected in some pockets of the region.

By March 15, this Western Disturbance will start moving away eastwards, due to which the weather in Delhi NCR will begin to clear up. However, overcast conditions will prevail for at least 24 hours.
March 16 onwards, northerly winds will once again start blowing over the region, leading to drop in minimum temperatures over most parts of the National Capital Region.
