Delhi and the NCR region have seen a decent amount of drop in terms of maximum temperatures. Some rainfall activity has been seen in a few areas of Northern India, which has resulted. Because of the heat and Western Disturbance, local circulations are forming and giving rains.

However, we can expect clear days ahead for the next three days. All parts of Delhi are seeing six to seven degrees below normal levels including Safdarjung, Palam, Ridge, Lodhi Road etc. There may be a slight rise in temperatures for two to three days and maximums may be around 37 and 38 degrees.

Thereafter, a prolonged rainy spell is expected starting April 27 over parts of North India including Delhi and the NCR. In fact, these rainfall activities will ensure that temperatures witness a drop again soon. You can expect a few moderate spells of rains in between. Moreover, rain may even spillover to initial days of May.
