A fresh active Western Disturbance has approached the northern region of the country. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation has formed over Southwest Pakistan. Also, moisture incursion is likely to take place from Arabian Sea over the area in the coming two to three days.

Presently, both maximum and minimum temperatures over Delhi and adjoining areas are above the normal mark. These temperatures are likely to increase further over the next few days.

Today, we expect a change in wind patterns. Gradually, the winds will start shifting southwards and turn into South-easterlies.

A spell of thunderstorm activity is likely to occur at some parts of Delhi and NCR by today evening. The activity is likely to likely to continue as the weather system is gradually moving towards East.

Thus, rains and thundershower activities will enhance and shift. Hailstorm associated with gusty winds will also occur on the night of March 5 or 6. These rains are likely to continue up to March 7. An improvement is likely thereafter.

The wind speed may reach up to 30 to 40 kmph during the thunderstorm activity. It might even reach around 50 kmph in pockets.

Meanwhile, the day temperatures will reduce significantly on February 5 and 6.
