Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai have similar weather conditions

It is rarity that weather condition of two different cities at two different locations is similar, but such is definitely not the case now with the few of the major cities of India. Some of the important cities of India namely Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai have similar weather conditions.

The maximum temperatures over all these cities are almost equal with temperatures hovering in the mid-30 degrees mark. Even though the minimum temperatures may vary from city to city but the day temperatures are similar.

Despite being in the different geographical locations, the temperatures over the region are very similar. Not one of the major metro cities is expected to have any weather activity.

Delhi

At present,Delhiis witnessing pleasant weather conditions due to persistent northwesterly winds which are cool in nature. Both day and night temperatures are near normal with 34°C being the maximum and 20°C being the minimum. The good news for Delhiites is that such weather conditions will continue for 2-3 days. Post April 11, temperatures will see a gradual rise.

Mumbai

As of now the maximum temperature overMumbaiis 34°C whereas the minimum is at 20°C. But, temperatures of Mumbai will see a significant increase. This change in mercury is expected due to change in wind direction. Northwestern winds which were keeping the temperatures on the cooler side will be replaces by northeastern winds will increase the temperature. These winds are coming from WestMadhya PradeshandGujaratwhere temperatures are already high.
