Delhi likely to see driest February, temperatures to increase further

Delhi and the NCR region have not seen any rain in the month of February. In fact, if we look at the last 10 years, it looks like Delhi and the NCR has seen the driest February so far.

For February, the average rains for Delhi in February stands at 21.5 mm. Looking at the table below, 2013 was the rainiest February while 2018 has been the driest.

The month of February sees a variation in terms of rain as we see in the table from nil to 3-digit rainfall.

As far as the current weather conditions are concerned, clouding may be seen around 19 and 20th but the chances of rains are extremely bleak.

Talking about the temperatures, they have been running above normal and no reduction is likely. In fact, we may see maximums reaching 30 degrees or so. As far as the last few years are concerned, maximums have even been observed above 32 degrees on a few years.
