Its an important day for the citizens of Delhi and NCR today. With long queues of people waiting to cast their precious vote, weather has an important role to play.
As per the forecast generated by Skymet, today the city and the lucky voters of Delhi will see a bright sunny day. The sky will remain clear throughout the day. Also, the wind profile will remain on the lower side with some light winds making their presence felt every now and then.
Taking expert advice on the matter, there is no need for voters to wear anti-pollution masks today as pollution will remain in ‘moderate’ to ‘very poor’ level. The central parts of Delhi are seeing pollution in ‘very poor’ category while the southern parts and Noida are seeing ‘poor’ air. Otherwise other parts of Delhi NCR are seeing ‘moderate’ air at present.
As a matter of fact, dry weather conditions are continuing over Delhi and NCR for the last many days. The days are cool and pleasant while nights are cold with a mainly clear sky.
The feeble Western Disturbance as an upper air Trough is moving across Northeast parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Otherwise, no other significant systems are likely to affect Delhi and NCR during the next three to four days. Hence, dry weather is likely to prevail over the region. Day will be pleasant with a sunny sky while nights will be cold.
Due to dry weather conditions and light winds, the pollution levels will remain constant during the coming days.
