After a few days of good air, Delhi’s air quality seems like plunging once again to the same poor levels. Yesterday, Delhi’s air quality continued to remain in ‘moderate’ category with a slight improvement since the day before.

At present, Delhi NCR is experiencing air quality in ‘very poor’ category. The same air quality is likely to continue over Delhi and NCR for the next some days.

During the last couple of days, dry weather conditions are prevailing over Delhi NCR. The days are slightly warm with bright sunshine, while nights are cool especially during the early morning hours. Also, during the morning hours, shallow fog and mist is prevailing as northwesterly light winds are prevailing which are dry in nature.

Hence, dry weather conditions are likely to continue over the Delhi NCR during the next three to four days. The days will remain slightly warm with a maximum temperatures of about 30 degree while nights will be cool. Minimum temperatures will remain between 14 to 15 degrees.

Due to light winds blowing over Delhi NCR during the next three to four days, the pollution index is likely to take a leap in the region.  ‘Poor’ to ‘very poor’ air will prevail over Delhi NCR during the next few days since no significant rains or strong winds are expected.
