A Cyclonic Circulation is over southern parts of Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean. This circulation is expected to become more marked and may turn into a Low Pressure Area in another 24 hours or so.
The system will initially move westward and come over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean region. There are some signs of this system intensifying further but moving away from the coast and towards Andaman Sea.
There is a likelihood that the system may intensify later. In fact, in the beginning of March, a Low Pressure Area had formed which did intensify into a Tropical Storm 1B, which was short lived but the first freak storm that formed in the month of March. More insight on this present system becoming a tropical storm can only be ascertained after a little more time.
