Cyclone Gulab may cross south Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh post by evening of September 26. Moderate to heavy rain may occur over South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh coast on 25th and 26th of September. Rain will also commence over North Telangana, south Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Southeast Madhya Pradesh September26 and may intensify on 27th.
After making landfall, the cyclone may degenerate into a deep depression thereafter into depression by morning of September 27 over south Chhattisgarh. The weather system continues its westward journey towards south Rajasthan and Gujarat region and reach there by September 28 as a low-pressure area.
There may be moderate to heavy showers over many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, parts of north Telangana, North Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa as well as Gujarat and Southeast Rajasthan between September 27 and 28. Rain may subside over Andhra Pradesh and Odisha by the evening of September 27th.
Another cyclone circulation will develop over East Central and Northeast Bay of Bengal on September 27. This cyclonic circulation may also intensify in low pressure or Depression and will follow the track of Cyclone Gulab.
