In the wake of this, minimum temperatures over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka have witnessed a drop by one to two degrees.
These winds are expected to continue to blow over the region for the next few days as no system is likely to approach the Western Himalayan region for quite some time. Therefore, further drop in minimums may be witnessed over the region. Temperatures over the Northwestern Plains as well as Central India along with few parts of Peninsular India have even dropped up to 15 degrees Celsius.
