The weather of Madhya Maharashtra has also remained dry for the last many days with the continuation of clear and bright sunny skies. The day and night temperatures of North Madhya Maharashtra region are above normal while, the night temperatures of southern parts of Madhya Maharashtra are near the normal levels.
Yesterday, most districts of Madhya Maharashtra settled near the 35-degree mark with some even surpassing the same. Jalgaon recorded the maximum temperatures at 36.2°C, followed by Solapur at 36°C. Pune, Nashik, and Sangli witnessed the daytime high at 34.6°C, 34°C and 34.4°C, respectively.
Skymet Weather does not foresee any major weather system approaching the region and hence, the weather of Madhya Maharashtra region is expected to remain dry and warm. However, North Madhya Maharashtra may witness partly cloudy sky on February 24 with possibilities of thunderstorms.

Thereafter, light rain and thundershowers can be expected over parts of North Madhya Maharashtra region. However, the activity would be patchy in nature, occurring at isolated places. These activities are anticipated to continue until February 28 or March 1.
No significant fluctuations in the temperatures profile of the region. But a drop by 1-2 degrees in the maximums can be predicted.
Skymet Weather also reiterates that this is the favorable period for hailstorm activities and thus isolated hailstorm over North Madhya Maharashtra including Jalgaon, Nashik, and Malegaon cannot be ruled out.
