There has been a marginal drop in the minimum temperatures across the plains of North India. The entire belt consisting of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh are now experiencing close to normal minimum temperatures. The drop in minimum temperatures is attributed to the Western Disturbance which has left the area, followed by cold Northwesterly winds. The coldest place in the plains of India is Erinpura in Rajasthan, followed by Narnaul in Haryana.
