The cold weather just doesn't seem to relent. The entire belt consisting of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh have been experiencing bone chilling temperatures. Most places across the region have been recording minimum temperatures of 5°C or below. The severe cold wave has led to a number of deaths across the region. Some places are recording temperatures close to freezing levels. The coldest place in the region is Churu in Rajasthan followed by Pilani in Rajasthan.
