Bone chilling temperatures continue to persist in North and parts of Central India. The entire belt consisting of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and north Madhya Pradesh will continue to reel under cold wave conditions. Churu in Rajasthan recorded the lowest temperature on Sunday. Narnaul in Haryana is the second coldest place in the region. Apart from minimum temperatures, day temperatures have also shown a significant drop in last 24 hours. Currently maximum temperatures are much below normal, due to which cold day conditions are being observed in most parts of North India.
