Cold weather with below normal minimum and maximum temperatures continue to persist in parts of North, Central and East India. The entire belt consisting of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh will continue to shiver for a couple of days more. Delhi today recorded the lowest minimum temperature of the season so far, while adjoining Hindon in Uttar pradesh was close to recording sub zero minimum. Morning minimums in Punjab and Haryana have also dropped sharply.
