Biting cold weather continues to persist in parts of North, Central and East India. The entire belt consisting of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand will continue to shiver. Narnaul in Haryana recorded the lowest temperature on Friday. Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh is the second coldest place in the region. It is not only the minimum temperatures which have plummeted but maximums too have shown a significant drop. Currently maximum temperatures are below normal, due to which cold day conditions are being observed in most parts of North India.
