Parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh continue to observe cold nights as the minimum temperatures are still settling in single digits.
Presently, the rest of Northwest India is witnessing night temperatures in double digits and are likely to rise further.
According to Skymet Weather, dry and cold northwesterly winds are reaching up to East Rajasthan and a few parts of Madhya Pradesh. These winds have restricted the temperatures from rising.
Temperatures in both the pockets are settling below normal by two to four degrees.
Skymet Weather predicts that morning temperatures will continue to be below average for at least 48 hours. Thereafter, an approaching Western Disturbance will change the wind pattern which will in turn increase the humidity levels and lead to rise in minimum temperatures.
Let us have a look at the minimum temperatures recorded across both the states on Tuesday morning.
