Cold nights and warm afternoons for JaipurThe pink city has witnessed some biting cold conditions during the months of December and January. So much so that the city even witnessed a few spells of rains owing to the induced cyclonic circulations developed due to the Western Disturbances in the Western Himalayas.

In fact, on January 26, the Republic Day, the capital city of Rajasthan received moderate rains of 21 mm. During this period, Delhi also witnessed good rains.

Due to these rains, the maximums that had soared to a whopping 28.8 degrees in the city of kings, dropped down to 18.7 degrees. Thereafter, since January 30, temperatures in Jaipur witnessed a rise again and since then have been settling around 25 degrees.

As far as the minimums are concerned, they were well above the 10-degree mark on a few occasions. However, now the minimums have witnessed a steep drop and have been settling below 10 degrees.

Currently, the maximum is at around 25 degrees whereas the minimum temperature is two notches below the normal levels at 8.7 degrees.

Now, nights will remain slightly cold with the mercury being slightly below the normal levels for the next few days. However, the afternoons will be on the warmer side with the mercury even going slightly above the normal levels.
