Cold day conditions are expected to be witnessed in Amethi during Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi's two day visit to Amethi starting from tomorrow. According to our forecast, cold weather wherein maximum temperatures remain below normal by 5 degrees may prevail in Amethi due to clouds. The maximum temperature would be around 18°C. Due to cloudy sky, minimum temperatures in Amethi would rise a bit to be above 10°C and morning would be relatively less cool than the last two days.
Rain has been forecast at many places in Uttar Pradesh including the capital Lucknow during the next 24 hours due a Western Disturbance in Jammu & Kashmir and related cyclonic circulation in the plains. Chances of rain will increase towards east Uttar Pradesh gradually as these weather systems would move eastward to bring rain in Allahabad and possibly in Varanasi as well after the next 24 hours.
Good news for Rahul Gandhi is that there is not going to be much rain to hamper his visit unlike last time when he had to postpone it due to wet Ramlila grounds where a public meeting was scheduled.
On that trip, Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to inaugurate nine branches of the State Bank of India and an FM radio station and also address his supporters at the Ramlila Ground.
Chandrakand Dubey, representative of Rahul Gandhi in Amethi said that Rahul would meet workers and villagers during his two day visit. Dubey further cleared that there will be no public rally during his visit. However he said that Rahul Gandhi would hold an “open house” meeting on the second day of his two day visit to Amethi. Rahul was in Amethi last on November 26 to lay the foundation stone for a railways project.
