The month of July hasn't been as bad for Hyderabad in terms of monsoon rains. While the city remained dry during the first day, traces of rains were observed on several occasions after that. In fact, two days ago moderate rainfall of 23 mm was witnessed over the Biryani City.
However, it seems like rain gods have once again decided to shy away from Hyderabad as during the last 24 hours from 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, the city hasn't received even a trace of light rain. In fact, almost the entire state of Telangana remained dry during the aforementioned time frame.
The reason for such weather conditions is attributed to the absence of any significant weather system over Hyderabad. So much so that the city is expected to remain almost dry for another two days or so.

However, good rainfall activity is expected to make a comeback over Hyderabad around July 12th. During this time, a weather feature is expected to develop in close proximity of Hyderabad resulting in some rainfall activity.
