Rains have become quite common for Andhra Pradesh. The state has been experiencing some really good showers from past few days. In the last 24 hours, some light rains have occurred in coastal Andhra Pradesh. However, the interior regions of the state remained free from observing much rains.
In the last 24 hours, from 08:30 am on Tuesday, Tirupathi district of Andhra Pradesh has witnessed light traces of rains. The reason for these rains as per Skymet Weather can be associated with a trough that is extending from interior Odisha to Karnataka across coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Due to this, moisture feed will continue over parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh which will give rise to cloud build up. Hence, some light rain and thundershowers are expected at a few places in next 24 hours. At present also, the weather of Andhra has become cloudy and a few districts are already relishing pre-Monsoon showers.
However, thereafter, the intensity of rains and its spread will be less but still absolute dry weather will not prevail in Andhra Pradesh.
Skymet Weather also predicts that despite these rains, not much change in the temperature profile is expected. True to their nature, these pre-Monsoon showers generally pick up the pace during late afternoon or late evening and hence, by that time, the maximums have already peaked.
Moreover, the weather across most of the Andhra Pradesh will stay pleasant as on and off rains are expected to continue though it will cover small areas and will last for a short duration.
